One of the most important things in life is education. I was raised in a family full of educators and in my life I have always understood the sheer necessity of a solid education. I remember the first day I went to school in Kindergarten. I was so intense, focused, and ready to learn that my teachers had to get me to relax and have some fun. While the fun was vital for me, I still kept the drive and intensity there too.
Most children today lack the understanding of why an education is needed in life. Their parents and/or families do not stress the importance to them throughout life. It makes me just so sad to see kids giving up so early and teachers being forced to pass them along. As an educator I feel a responsibility to these children, yet my hands are completely tied.
